- Orders under £50: £3.99.

- Shipping: Main courier is Royal Mail with Tracked 24/48hour service
- Delivery: Direct to your doorstep
Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day Delivery
This courier service is guaranteed for next day delivery by 1.00pm. It is available at our discretion at a cost of approx £10 - £15. Please email us if you wish to use this service.

Import VAT, Duties and Fees
As TirGlas is based in the United Kingdom, all shipments to the European Union are subject to EU import VAT and, where applicable, customs duties. These charges are not included in your order total at checkout and are collected by the carrier or your local customs authority upon delivery.
- EU import VAT applies to all orders regardless of value — the previous VAT-free threshold no longer exists (removed July 2021).
- Customs duties may apply depending on the product type and order value. Wool and textile products typically fall under HS codes 5xxx–6xxx; duty rates vary by EU member state.
- Carrier handling or brokerage fees may also be charged by Royal Mail's partner postal service in your country.
- You will typically receive a notification from the carrier or your national postal service before delivery, with instructions on how to pay.
We recommend checking your country's customs authority website for an estimate of charges before ordering. TirGlas Ltd is not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.
Customs Documentation
- Each order includes:
- CN22 or CN23 customs form
- Commercial invoice
- A declaration accurately covering:
- Product: for example, "100% wool blanket"
- Value: matches invoice
- Country of origin: United Kingdom
- HS code: for example, 6301 or whatever is relevant
This ensures smooth customs clearance and eligibility for zero tariffs where applicable.
- Refused Deliveries & Returns
- If a shipment is refused due to unpaid import VAT, duties, or fees, the parcel may be returned.
- We reserve the right to deduct return shipping costs, customs charges, and handling fees from your refund.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
- Returned items must remain unused and in original condition

Agreement and Customer Responsibility
By placing an order for delivery outside the UK, you agree that:
- You are responsible for all import VAT, duties, and handling fees.
- TirGlas Ltd is not responsible for additional charges applied by your local customs authority.
- Shipments are DAP (Delivered At Place) — you act as the importer of record.
- Please note: EU shipments are subject to import VAT and customs duties, payable on delivery.
- Shipments to the USA are DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), including USA tariffs.
