- What is an authentic Welsh blanket? All our blankets are woven in Wales with 100% British wool. Many are woven with the double cloth weaving technique, long associated with Welsh blankets which produces a fully reversible blanket.
- What makes a Welsh Blanket unique? The unique feature is the double cloth weaving technique used for many of our most iconic designs, often referred to as Welsh tapestry blankets. This technique weaves two separate layers of cloth simultaneously, interlinked at certain points, creating a thick, extra-warm, and fully reversible textile with reverse colours and patterns on each side.
