Heritage Crafts Association
Heritage Crafts are the national charity set up to celebrate, support and safeguard traditional craft skills, and to facilitate a national conversation about their importance to everyone now and in the future.
They are passionate about ensuring that everyone has access to craft skills that have developed over generations, and which we believe will be vital in helping us tackle the challenges of the future – and to be able to enjoy making as part of a fulfilled life.

We are members of the Heritage Craft Association with respect to our use of natural dyes. Compared to synthetic dyes, the use of natural dyes is a more time-consuming method with a few more stages but the rewards for your patience make it worthwhile. The colours are enthralling, each will depend on where the dyestuff was grown, how it was harvested, the fibres being dyed, and the method of application used by the dyer.
We do not use any synthetic dyes on any product dyed by us on this website - hand dyed yarn, hand dyed scarves, crayons, block printing and in our natural dye workshops.
